Ayesha Vardag discusses whether we should be more approving of open marriages

Our founder, Ayesha Vardag, has recently taken on the role of a columnist for Telegraph Money. In her latest piece, she delved into the topic of open marriages and questioned whether society should adopt a more accepting stance towards them.

With the introduction of no fault divorce, the act of adultery has lost its legal significance.  In Vardags experience women are generally the ones to petition for divorce often due to their husbands infidelity. Vardag highlights that divorce, both in England and many parts of America, can have profound financial and emotional consequences, often resulting in one party having to uproot their life without the means to secure suitable housing.

The article concludes by suggesting that if you find your partner cheating, you dont have to follow the norm and immediately resort to divorce if other aspects of the relationship remain strong
